Formatting Syntax

Use bold headers for book-verse combinations, and then bulleted lists for those following them. Bold headers quickly follow the same font size of the content, making it easier to transition between the two. Using a simple transition of bold to bulleted is easier to remember than the heading types.

Luke 1:1

  • The first verse in the Book of Luke

If there is more content that follows that is not a small note, then create another entry with the same verse number.

Luke 1:1

Here's more commentary on this verse, that would follow.

And it would probably have more than one paragraph, too.

New sections can begin with a level 4 heading.
