2 Nephi 18:6-8

• The Lord is using a comparison and analogy using water. Judah did not prefer the calm quietness of "the waters of Shiloh," so He sends them "the waters of the river, strong and many, even the king of Assyria," in all his evil glory. These verses to the Jews could not be more clear – Assyria will completely destroy and inhabit their kingdom.
