There was a thought I had recently regarding the signs of the times. In 3rd Nephi when Christ descends, the people do not recognize Him, and they suppose that it was an angel. I wonder, myself, how many signs are being fulfilled in my lifetime, that have been mentioned in prophecies many times, and I don't recognize them.

Also, I thought of the house of Judah, and how they believed Jerusalem could never be destroyed, because of its history as a holy city. I think the attitude is silly, but I realize I have the same one towards Salt Lake. I can't possibly imagine this city being destroyed – it is too holy, full of promise and prophecy.
