+A wicked king, who was crowned king after his father [[Omri]], and reigned for 22 years (1 Kings 16-29).  At the time, was the most wicked leader the kingdom had seen (1 Kings 16:29).  He married [[Jezebel]] who was a princess from [[Sidon]] (1 Kings 16:31) and actively setup altars to worship [[Baal]] (1 Kings 16:32-33).  He pursued and killed prophets (1 Kings 18:13).  He himself was killed in a battle against Syria.
