Go Ye Therefore

• Church has the duty of preaching the gospel
• Missionary work blesses the lives of all who participate

You Know Enough

• "When Jesus comes, I will be able to hear and you will get your legs. Jesus will make everything all right."

• No chapel in Brazil when his father was baptized (reminds me of Trevelin)
• Read the Book of Mormon and apply the promise it contains

Sacrament Meeting and the Sacrament

• Inviting detours at every turn
• Go to the house of prayer
• Rest from labors, pay devotion to the Most High
• By taking the sacrament weekly, we quality for the constant presence of the Holy Ghost

The Infinite Power of Hope

• Scriptures were written that we might have hope
• Hope is the power to fill our lives with happiness
• Hope + faith + charity
• Hope is a gift of the Spirit
• Doubt, despair and failure to care for our fellow man lead us into temptation which can cause us to forfeit choice and lose precious blessings
• Despair drains from us all that is vibrant and joyful
• Despair is a stairway that only leads downward
• Jesus Christ is the hope of all mankind
• The things that we hope in sustain us during our daily walk
• Hope leads to good works
• Sometimes we must bravely hope against circumstances
• Without faith, there is no hope; faith comes from hope
• The things we hope for lead to faith; the thing we hope in lead to charity

Honor the Priesthood and Use It Well

• Christ ministered with love, compassion and charity
• My intent is not to criticize, but to benefit the flow of the priesthood
• Many such [widows] will never ask for help
• Express your gratitude to your wife / mother
• God will hold us accountable in how we treat His daughters

Winning the War against Evil

• Final stages of a great war
• Awful consequences through history
• Awesome, powerful talk :)

Lift Where You Stand

• The Savior always made time for the sick, the sorrowful and the overlooked
• He is pleased with noble servants
• The humble will receive crowns of glory in the next life
• The Church is organized in a way that offers each member a chance for service

O Ye That Embark

• The more service you give, the more the Lord asks of you

To Learn, to Do, to Be

• He declared the Presidency as one. He had this really interesting disposition when he said that, which I'd never seen him exhibit beore.
• We have the hands to life others from complacency and inactivity
• The Lord will shape the back to bear the burdens that are placed upon it

Come What May, and Love It

• The Lord in His wisdom does not shield anyone from sadness and grief
• Learn to laugh
• We didn't get angry, we laughed and created good memories
• The next time you're tempted to groan, laugh instead
• The Lord compensates the faithful for every loss
• The Lord wants us to be happy
• If we do our part, He will step in
