**Isaiah 4:1**

  * In the Hebrew writings, verse 1 was appended to the end of the 3rd chapter (see Isaiah 3:26).


**Isaiah 4:5**

  * The dwelling places are where we live -- our homes.
  * In [[Exodus 12]] the Lord had them mark their homes and told them not to leave (see Exodus 12:21-22).
  * The assemblies are the congregations gathered -- churches, families.
