  * Despair drains from us all that is vibrant and joyful
  * Despair is a stairway that only leads downward
  * Jesus Christ is the hope of all mankind
  * The things that we hope in sustain us during our daily walk
  * Hope leads to good works
  * Sometimes we must bravely hope against circumstances
  * Without faith, there is no hope; faith comes from hope
  * The things we hope for lead to faith; the thing we hope in lead to charity
